February 18, 2021 Updates

Users with Administrative permissions now have access to advanced features and capabilities for managing aircraft utilizations. This new feature includes new fleet tools for quick imports and reporting for aircraft and tracked equipment. The exported report includes average and actual utilization for quick reference.
February 6, 2021 Updates

A new Aircraft Times top-level module has been added to the Maintenance platform to ensure aircraft times are pushed automatically from the Operations platform. This real-time integration can be configured to instantly push times from Operations directly to Maintenance upon the completion and submission of the Flight Log. This action reduces the number of steps required to update aircraft times in both platforms eliminating the chances of introducing errors and miscalculations.
January 10, 2021 Updates

Fleet management requires unique filters. Users can now create, save, and make default, custom filters for Due List and Non-Routine items quickly from the desktop and iPad. Users can assign the saved custom filters for individual use or make them available for company use. Saved filters can be accessed directly from the Due List and Non-Routine pages.
November 25, 2020 Updates

Advanced filtering now allows for searches down to the work performed steps. This additional filter allows for quick and efficient review and reporting on items that have either technician work performed and/or inspector notes. This simple filter means that you don’t have to click into each item, creating a batch view of items. These filters are available on the desktop and iPad versions of Flightdocs.
October 20, 2020 Updates

Our latest update introduces a new feature that allows for recording maintenance and labor at a much more granular level from within the Work Orders module. This streamlines the process of turnover between shifts and different team members working on a specific task. At the task level, from within the "Work Performed" tab, users can add entries for work as it is being completed against a specific task.

We’ve made a number of enhancements to the Electronic Flight Log to provide better information to crew members and make the flight log process easier and more consistent. The result is a decrease in lag time between the completion of a flight and when the pilot submits their flight log, ultimately improving the visibility and accuracy of data for flight ops managers.

Users now have the ability to create 2-way links between Maintenance Items (Inspections, Components, ADs, SBs) and Non-Routine Maintenance Items (Discrepancies, MELs, NEFs, and CDLs). This new feature significantly streamlines the workflow of creating, updating and associating multiple related items. It also enhances historical reporting and visibility into the causes and effects of maintenance events.

This new approach and support tool will help your team become more effective with the features available in Enterprise, drive adoption, and increase overall operational efficiency for your department.
May 7, 2020 Updates

We have just released a new update that will allow users to print completed Work Cards when printing a completed Work Order from the top level Work Order Actions menu. This allows for quick and easy printing once all tasks inside of a Work Order have been completed.

Now available under the Inventory Reports section is a new report called the "Complete Threshold" Report. This report allows you to view, edit, and export a full listing of all Inventory Minimum Thresholds and provides a simpler way to manage values without additional navigation.

We have just launched a new update to allow for quick and easy access to all attachments for Maintenance Items and Work Completed records right from the list view. This includes attachments used by Flightdocs Analysts to process compliance updates on your aircraft.

We have introduced multiple new alerts to ensure the safety and compliance of your flight department. The following alerts are now available: Aircraft at Maximum at Range. Duty Time Conflict, Maximum Passengers on Aircraft, Flight Log Time Meter Variance, Incomplete Crew Roster.

We have increased visibility of Alerts from both the Flight Schedule and the Detail View of a Trip or Hold. When viewing a Trip or Hold that has Alerts for schedule Conflict, we have added the ability to jump directly to the Trip, Hold or Personnel Activity Detail, or show the Conflict directly in the Flight Schedule View.

Users now have the ability to create Non-Routine Items while creating a Flight Log on the Web. As Flight Logs are completed, Discrepancies and MELs can be reported in real-time to Maintenance, and will improve visibility and the flow of data between departments. This feature is now available on both Web and iPad application.

We have added a new Tile to the Work Order module to let users see how many tasks are assigned to them, and by clicking the tile, users are able to filter down the list of tasks to see all of the tasks which are assigned to them. This feature is now available on both the Web and iPad application.
